I just finished eating a burrito supreme and a taco from Taco Bell. I know, I know...shame on me. But we had an appointment this morning and by the time it was over it was close to lunch time, and anyone with a kid knows the consequences you will pay if you are late for lunch. So I was sitting here devouring my bean burrito when I started to feel a little guilty. I grabbed my computer and looked up the calorie count. It was 440! So...I only ate half of my burrito, then I ate the taco which was only 170 calories. Overall, I stayed within the range I had planned for my lunch to begin with. Now I know that these are empty calories and that food was nearly 35% of my daily fat intake, but at least I managed my calories, right?
In case you were wondering (and you probably weren't) I have gotten a decent chunk of my weekly to-do list done. Tonight I convinced to hubby to go hang out with friends and I plan on finishing up the rest of my homework (a whole week early!! WOOHOO). I have to do some laundry today and tomorrow I will work on cleaning the house.
Today I am debating whether I should sweat it out with my tough Jillian Michael's workout to make up for not working out yesterday and for eating Taco Bell or opting for the easier Wii Fit Workout and doing the tough workout tomorrow. Hmmmmm.....Either way, it doesn't matter as long as I get some sort of workout in right?
Have a great, healthy weekend everyone!

I'd just do what I feel like. . . :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as you stay within your calorie count, I don't think it's a huge deal to eat out. I used to go to pals and get a ham and cheese sandwhich and their AMAZING seasoned fries, until I looked up the calorie count...the fries were 200 calories more than the ENTIRE sandwhich (380 cal.) so now I just get the sandwhich. I am sure as long as you work it off, it shouldn't matter too terribly much. It's not like you eat out every day. Andrews dad agreed to watch Emma in the afternoon tomorrow so we can go out for a lunch date. Last time we did this, was right before we started our challenge, and we spent $60 on appetizer/food/desert/alcohol. This time I have to be a lot healthier and smarter! Good luck with all your going to try to get done tonight...mostly because I'll be right here pestering you.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
I can't believe I spelled sandwich wrong through that whole post and didn't even notice...D'oh.
